iSolitaire is one of the most popular native applications available on the iPhone. It has been available since the earliest days of native iPhone applications, long before the iPhone 3G was released and firmware 2.x delivered the App Store.
iSolitaire is designed to be installed on a jailbroken iPhone, running Installer. You can find out how to jailbreak your iphone from a variety of sources but I'll spare you those details for your own research.
Installation of iSolitaire is incredibly simple thanks to the great "Installer" application. Simply choose the "Games" category and then scroll down to find iSolitaire. Tap it with your finger and then click Install. Once installed you'll have a nice shiny new icon on your iPhone home screen.
Upon opening iSolitaire you are presented with a fresh game, which long-time Windows users will be instantly familiar with. Simply drag cards to move them around. It couldn't be easier!
My only complaint with this great game for the iPhone is to start a new game you have to double tap the screen, and whenever I do that, I seem to accidentally change one of the options on the screen that pops up. Other than this game has provided me with hours of fun whilst out and about, and continues to impress friends with the technology within the iPhone.
